At Southwest
Steel Casting Company, all
inspectors performing inspection are
trained and certified per recommended
practice ASNT SNT-TC-1A. This is a
worldwide organization for establishing
guidelines for training certification of
NDT personnel.
Two inspectors are certified ASNT Level
II magnetic particle inspection
requirements by experience, training and
examination. NDT supervisor is an ASNT
Level III inspector (certificate #
KM-1680). He is responsible for the
training and certification of all MT
personnel.
Southwest Steel Casting Company
inspectors annually view tapes or other
related or material related to their
method per our ISO quality procedure.
Southwest Steel keeps a copy of its
magnetic particle inspection procedure
on file for examination at the customers
request. |
